I am 49 and I have been on the diet roller coaster for about 5 years now.
I was following a blog about eating clean and had just started eating clean when i got a email saying to cut out gluten. So i looked into gluten, I had not know what it was all about. Heard of gluten free and seen it on food i ate. Gluten is a protein complex found in wheat (including kamut and spelt), barley, rye and triticale. Being gluten intolerant can often mean a person has Coeliac disease.
Then I looked up Coeliac Disease and I found a web page that had 10 symptoms, and i had 9 out of 10. ( http://www.mayoclinic.com) Thats when I thought i would go ahead and try going Gluten Free. It has been going better then all the diets I have tried. There is a lot of places you can get recipes and there is a lot of products out there that is Gluten Free. I will be sharing my recipes and products that i have tried and what i think of them and my family even when they don’t know that they are trying it haha.
I have been going Gluten Free for only a month and I feel a lot better. I can feel a different. I have more energy and I have been sleeping better. I have read that Bill O’reilly has gone Gluten Free for 6 months and has lost 2 pants sizes. I don’t think i have lost any weight yet, but I think i will keep on trying and i hope i will lose 2 pant sizes in 6 months.
